How could more professions be able to work anytime anywhere?

Many people would like to work flexible hours, work less hours per day/per week/per year, have more transparency and power to negotiate wage rates, while at the same time have the structure around professional goals, responsibilities and accountability. With technology we have today, we can learn almost anything online. We need a way to work online, no matter profession, skill or country of residence, as well.
